Plain prinia : Prinia inornata

Main features: About 15 centimetres. Grey-brown
to warmer brown back feathers in winters; short white supercilium; whitish-buff
underparts; rufous fringes; Short rounded wings; lomg tail in non-breeding
plumage; short black bill, strong legs.
Found usually in Indian subcontinent. Wetlands, scrublands,
grasslands, open woodland and gardens are common habitats.
Generally utters tlee tlee tlee repetitively.
Nest is formed from leaves stitched together in shrubs or tall
grass.
Insectivorous.
